What does the Vitalizer Health Sensor measure?
Using the sensor located on the right side of the armrest, the device measures pulse, oxygen saturation, heart rate variability (HRV), and micronutrient flow speed.
Heart rate variability (HRV) is highly individual and depends on factors such as age, fitness level, genetics, and lifestyle. However, general reference values can help determine whether an HRV reading is considered high (healthy) or low (potentially problematic).
⚖️ Typical HRV Ranges (rMSSD in ms – a common measurement metric):
MeaningHigh (healthy) > 70 ms:Excellent recovery, low stress, good fitness
Medium 40–70 ms:Normal range, depending on activity and recovery
Low < 40 ms:Possible stress, fatigue, overtraining, or poor regeneration
🧠 Note: Athletes or very fit individuals often have HRV values above 100 ms, while sedentary or stressed individuals may fall below 30 ms.
📊 Influencing Factors:
- Age: HRV tends to decrease with age.
- Fitness: Regular endurance training increases HRV.
- Sleep & Stress: Poor sleep, illness, or chronic stress lower HRV.
- Lifestyle: Alcohol, dehydration, and overtraining negatively affect HRV.
